WHERE DO I FLY INTO AND HOW DO I GET TO BEARTOOTH SLINGSHOTS?

We have 3 airports close by (“close” is a relative term in Big Sky Country). Rent a car or grab a taxi/Uber to get to us. We also have a couple drivers in Billings ready to meet you at the airport and drive you to us (or back to the airport after your adventure) for just $60. CAN I RENT HOURLY OR HALF DAY?

We have both full and half day rentals available. We do not offer hourly rentals.

WILL MY SLINGSHOT CRUISE ON THE HIGHWAY COMFORTABLY?

Slingshots have a top speed of about 135 mph. They will easily cruise at 70 mph.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A HELMET?

Montana and the surrounding states do not have a helmet law, so its completely up to you. We include basic helmets at no charge, or you can upgrade to our high-end helmets for $10 per day for each helmet.

CAN I USE MY SLINGSHOT RENTAL TO LEARN HOW TO SHIFT A MANUAL TRANSMISSION?

No! It's very unsafe to try and learn how to shift in a Slingshot. They are faster than recent Porsche 911's and will spin the rear tire easily. Also, you run the risk of burning out the clutch and becoming stranded.

CAN I TAKE MY SLINGSHOT OFF-ROAD?

Slingshots cannot be taken off-road. They are belt-driven, and rocks can easily become stuck in the belt drive, breaking it, and disabling the Slingshot.

WHAT IF I ONLY HAVE A LEARNER’S PERMIT?

Sorry, but our insurance company requires a valid, permanent drivers license. Permits are not allowed.

CAN I STASH SOME OF MY STUFF WITH YOU WHILE I’M RIDING?

You sure can!

CAN I LEAVE MY RENTAL CAR WITH YOU WHILE I’M RIDING?

Yes, there is plenty of parking in the area.

WHERE SHOULD I RIDE?

You'll want to head up and over the Beartooth Pass to at least Cooke City. Most people will also venture into Yellowstone Park. While you're there, you should visit Teton Park, as well :)

IS LUGGAGE INCLUDED?

For multi-day rentals, we offer complimentary soft luggage that fits behind each seat into a compartment. Its enough for a 3-5 day trip, if you pack light.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CRASH THE SLINGSHOT?

Call the police if needed. Then, call us. You are responsible for all towing arrangements and damages to the Slingshot. We will try to assist with locating a tow company near you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET A FLAT TIRE OR DEAD BATTERY?

Just like renting a car, it is your responsibility to get a flat fixed and resume your adventure. We include a new can of Fix-A-Flat, so you can hopefully repair on the spot. Otherwise, call a tow company and have the Slingshot transported to a tire shop or to get a jump start.
